The Marquesa Hotel is seeking front desk agents to handle guests relations at our historic property in downtown Key West.
Responsibilities include checking in and assisting guests, managing reservations for the hotel and restaurant, providing information about rooms, rates and amenities, handling the phones and email correspondence, and providing concierge services to our clientele.
As Key West’s original boutique hotel, the Marquesa strives to provide top-tier service with a casual elegance. Flexibility, positivity and willingness to serve are qualities we appreciate and seek out in our staff. Hospitality experience is preferred but not required, and pay will be commensurate with experience.
Starting wage is $20/hr with an accelerated raise schedule after proven commitment to the position. Signing bonus after 60 days.
Welcome guests & perform all check-in and check-out tasks
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
Manage online and phone reservations for the hotel & restaurant
Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
Experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Customer service attitude
Experience with Opentable is a plus
