1. Must be capable of opening, closing, and balancing a cash register at the end of each shift.

2. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing a warm introduction to the guests shopping experience with a friendly and upbeat demeanor “Welcome to Island Time!” As well as answer questions and make personalized recommendations for merchandise to enhance guest experience.

3. This position has a responsibility to account for all merchandise sold. At end of shift, all cash, credit card, promo and room charges must balance against nightly reports and be handed in to hotel night audit.

4. Assist with stocking, displaying, and facing merchandise as needed.

5. Assist with signing and receiving deliveries with name and date. Record all orders received with packing slip including number and condition of each item received.

6. Maintain the shop in a clean and orderly manner to ensure it is looking sharp.

7. Work hours/days vary as dictated by business needs and may include weekends and holidays.

8. Must be able to perform all other duties as assigned by leadership team including Store Supervisor, Inventory Supervisor and Retail Director.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for someone who loves numbers, is highly motivated, and customer focused to join our team as a Cashier! The Cashier is responsible for assisting our outlets with closing out tickets in the POS system. This individual needs to be highly organized, loves numbers and very detailed. They will be working closely with different members of our team, so they will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.
