Position: Career Education Counselor
Description:Assists students in exploring career options. Advertise and disseminate information about careers, college and technical school admissions, Armed Services, college testing (PSAT/SAT, ACT), scholarships and awards, etc.
Facilitates College and Career Day programs assists students/parents with choices in career planning, financial aid workshops, post-secondary education information, and assistance with various forms.

Verification of Occupational Expertise:
Occupational expertise shall be established in the area of assignment by one of the plans specified below:
Plan One:
At least six (6) years of full-time occupational expertise (or the equivalent part-time experience) in the occupational field of the teaching assignment or
Plan Two:
A minimum of two (2) years of full-time occupational experience (or the equivalent part-time experience) in the occupational field of the teaching assignment with a bachelor's or higher degree. or
