Teachers Aide, PK3

Additional Information:
Big Pine Academy is hiring a Teachers Aide, PK3 (3 year olds) for the 2024-2025 school year.

This position works alongside a lead teacher in a classroom of approximately 20 PK3 students.

Compensation: $20.25/hr (full-time employment is approximately 40 hours/wk)

General Duties:
The essential function of the position within the organization is to assist in supervising students in a prekindergarten setting and in ensuring their safety and well-being. The position is responsible for assisting lead teacher(s) in preparing instructional materials, preparing classrooms for activities, supervising and assisting children in the classroom and in other areas of the school, reinforcing classroom lessons, and providing other assistance as requested. The position works under direct supervision according to set procedures.

Requirements:
-Must possess a valid state driver&#39s license
-Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred
-No prior experience neccessary, with a demonstration of knowledge of early childhood development
